Ayna Babylova is a Senior Investment Specialist in the Agribusiness Investment Team of the Private Sector Operations Department at the ADB. Since joining, she has led and structured investments of ADB capital into private agribusiness and food-sector companies across Central and West Asia. Her work focuses on mobilizing climate-focused private capital through long-term debt and blended finance structures, integrating climate adaptation and mitigation considerations into corporate investment programs, and catalyzing additional funding from commercial banks and development finance partners alongside ADB financing. Prior to ADB, Ayna spent over 12 years at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), where she served as a Principal Banker in the Agribusiness team in London and led and executed debt and equity investments across emerging markets, including sustainability-linked and green financing transactions. Ayna holds a Master’s degree in Finance from London Business School.
