Zhamilya Dairova is the chief specialist at the Environmental and Climate Policy Department of the Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic. She is involved in the development and implementation of national climate policy, including the preparation of the country’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs) and long-term climate strategies. Zhamilya also takes part in international climate negotiations under the UNFCCC, supporting efforts to align global commitments with national priorities. She contributes to inter-ministerial coordination processes and promotes the integration of climate considerations into national planning.
