Uzair Naveed Rabbani is a Business Finance and Law graduate with over 27 years of experience in corporate finance, business development, trade facilitation, and development finance. His expertise spans portfolio management, project finance for greenfield and brownfield projects, risk management, forecasting, financial inclusion, and sustainable finance.
As Country Head of Corporate Banking, he manages a nationwide portfolio of more than 500 clients across manufacturing, services, and the public sector. Previously, he led Green Financing Solutions for corporate banking and oversaw governance and regulatory compliance for the corporate portfolio. He has also served as Senior Credit Officer and Chief Operating Officer of an agribusiness subsidiary, and launched operations for HBL’s agriculture extension subsidiary.
Earlier in his career, Uzair led sector research in infrastructure, cement, and telecom, structured Islamic finance solutions for public entities, and executed corporate finance transactions in capital and debt markets, while supporting sustainable agricultural finance models.
