Sunae has over 20 years of experience working with multilateral development banks and United Nations agencies, including ADB, IFAD, FAO, ITC, UNCTAD, UNESCO, and UNOPS, in agriculture and natural resource management. She has worked in more than 19 countries across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, including Bangladesh, Cambodia, the People’s Republic of China, Egypt, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Syria, Viet Nam, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
Sunae is an experienced project team leader for agriculture and natural resource management investment projects. Since joining ADB in August 2018, she has focused on the India and Nepal portfolios, designing and supporting implementation of horticulture value chains, crop diversification, plant health, integrated water management, and fisheries and wetland management projects.
