Stephan Weise is Managing Director for Asia of the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT and Co-Director of the ASEAN-CGIAR Program. Previously, he served nearly a decade as Deputy Director General for Research at Bioversity International. His work spans biodiversity, tree crops, farm diversification, integrated weed management, and farming systems research. Earlier, he worked at the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture and the University of Guelph. He obtained his PhD from ETH Zurich.
