Searon Yanthan is a coffee grower, producer, and roaster from Nagaland who works to advance and position Northeastern Indian coffee within national and global specialty coffee markets. He collaborates closely with marginal coffee farmers across Nagaland and the wider Northeast, focusing on improving quality, establishing traceability systems, promoting sustainable production practices, and strengthening market linkages. His work connects farm-level development with processing, roasting, branding, and strategic market positioning to enhance the value and recognition of coffee from emerging regions.
He serves as Director of Marketing at Lithanro Pvt. Ltd., where he leads initiatives to expand market access and visibility for coffees from emerging origins. He is also the Founder of Juro Roasters, a specialty coffee venture focused on precision roasting and origin-driven quality. In 2023, Juro Roasters was recognized among the Top 16 Coffee Startups by the Coffee Board of India at the World Coffee Conference. Searon has represented India at international platforms such as Coffex 2025 in Istanbul and has been recognized among the 100 Progressive Coffee Growers of India during the 100-year Jubilee of the Central Coffee Research Institute, where he also spoke on specialty coffee and global markets.
