Roberta Bove is Senior Lead for Innovative Finance and Team Lead of the Nutritious Food Enterprise Unit at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN). She leads the Nutritious Food Financing Facility (N3F), a blended finance partnership with Incofin Investment Management that supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) producing nutritious foods through a nutrition-focused debt fund and a technical assistance and impact measurement facility.
Previously, at the UN Foundation’s Clean Cooking Alliance, Roberta managed a portfolio of clean energy enterprises across Africa, Asia, and Latin America, deploying grant funding, technical assistance, carbon credit development support, and financial advisory services to de-risk investments under the Spark+ Africa Fund.
Earlier, as Senior Investment Manager at Palladium, she co-developed the firm’s impact investment strategy and structured debt and quasi-equity investments in off-grid solar and agribusinesses across Sub-Saharan Africa.
Roberta has over 17 years of experience supporting SMEs through impact investing, technical assistance, and development finance. She holds a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance from Bocconi University.
