Prateek Rastogi is the Founder & CEO of Better Nutrition, a mission-driven enterprise working to transform India’s food system through biofortified nutrition. An MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, Prateek began his career in management consulting at Strategy& before moving into entrepreneurship to address one of the world’s most pressing yet invisible challenges: hidden hunger.
Through Better Nutrition, he has built a rural micro-entrepreneurship and agri-supply model that enables farmers to shift from high-yield to high-nutrition farming using biofortified seeds, and soil health analytics. Building on this farm-to-fork model, Better Nutrition is bringing biofortified staples such as wheat, rice, and millets into mainstream retail and quick commerce platforms, making naturally nutrient-dense food affordable and accessible to urban households.
Prateek’s work demonstrates how private-sector models can embed nutrition at the production stage while creating sustainable farmer livelihoods and scalable FMCG businesses. The enterprise has received national recognition, including support through Shark Tank India, and recognition by the Indian Agricultural Ministry.
