Mr. Mingyuan Fan is a Principal Water Resources Specialist at the Agriculture, Food, Nature, and Rural Development Sector Office (SD2-AFNR) of ADB.
Mr. Fan joined the Bank in July 2010. He served different positions in ADB, including as Urban Development Specialist (2010–2013) and Senior Urban Development Specialist (2013–2017) at the Urban Development Division in South Asia Department; and as Principal Water Resources Specialist (2019–present) at the East Asia Department and currently at SD2-AFNR.
Mingyuan Fan holds a Master’s Degree in Municipal and Environmental Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology in PRC. Prior to joining ADB, Mingyuan Fan worked as Senior Municipal Engineer at the World Bank’s East Asia and Pacific Region, and as Director of Urban Unit in China International Engineering Consulting Corporation (CIECC).
