Meredith Hazel Cua is a Senior Investment Officer with the Asian Development Bank (ADB), serving in the Private Sector Operations Department’s Agribusiness Investments Team since March 2025. Since joining the ADB ecosystem in 2018, she has delivered high-impact transactions across the ASEAN region, having previously served as an Investment Officer for the Credit Guarantee & Investment Facility (CGIF), an ADB trust fund.
A CFA Charterholder and Certified Public Accountant in the Philippines, Meredith has spearheaded deal executions, including landmark bond issuances and guarantees in Indonesia and Thailand. Her extensive experience also includes supporting award-winning social and green bonds across Cambodia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Her expertise encompasses the end-to-end investment lifecycle, ranging from strategic deal origination and rigorous credit underwriting to structural negotiations and portfolio management.
Meredith graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of the Philippines, Diliman, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accountancy. She now leverages her regional track record and experience to drive sustainable agribusiness development and private sector growth across Asia.
