Minister Meder Asanovich Mashiev serves as the Minister of Natural Resources, Ecology, and Technical Supervision of the Kyrgyz Republic. Prior to his current ministerial position, Mashiev served as the Deputy Minister—Director of the Kyrgyz Geological Service under the Ministry of Natural Resources. From 2004 to 2016, Minister Mashiev worked in various private enterprises for the export and import of fuels and lubricants and the processing of petroleum products. From 2016 to 2019, he worked at Gazprom Kyrgyzstan LLC. From December 2020 to January 2024, he served as Deputy Director of the State Agency for State Property Management under the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan. He pursued his education at the Dzhambul Technological Institute of Light and Food Industry in the Kazakh SSR, graduating in 1992 with a degree in engineering technology.
