Martinho Laurentino Soares is currently taking a role as Director General for Agriculture, Coffee and Industrial Plants in the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Forestry. He is also a senior staff of MALFF who normally provides the technical advice for agriculture sector specially in irrigation. In addition to that, he is now in charge as a Project Chair for Coffee and Agroforestry Livelihood Improvement Project starting from 2024 till present.
