Marika Guderian

Marika Guderian is the Head of Programme at the World Food Programme (WFP) in Lao PDR. She provides strategic leadership across nutrition, food systems, social protection, and climate resilience, working closely with government counterparts and development partners to address food insecurity and malnutrition. Her work focuses on linking food systems transformation with behavior change, nutrition-sensitive agriculture, and community-based approaches that improve diets and resilience at scale. Ms. Guderian brings over 15 years in the sector across the globe with multi-sectoral programming and crossagency collaboration as her focus, positioning nutrition at the center of inclusive and sustainable development.
