Leanne previously served as Knowledge & Partnerships Officer at Clim-Eat (2022–2023), where she coordinated projects on food systems innovation, intergenerational learning, and climate action in Kenya’s counties. She has authored and co-authored numerous articles and opinion pieces on food systems reform, UN climate processes, and disruptive innovations in agriculture, published across platforms such as Clim-Eat, Farming First, and Devex.
Academically, Leanne holds an MSc in International Development from Wageningen University & Research and a BSc (Hons) in Governance, Economics, and Development from Leiden University College The Hague. Her professional and academic background reflects a strong commitment to advancing climate action through inclusive, evidence-based food systems transformation.
