I am a registered agriculturist with over seven (7) years of experience advancing rural development through promoting organic farming, soil fertility management, and the conservation of plant genetic resources. My career bridges scientific research and practical application, with a strong focus on building sustainable farming systems that enhance soil health, promote ecological balance, and safeguard biodiversity for future generations.
I graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Organic Agriculture with a Magna Cum Laude distinction. Currently, I am a Master’s Candidate in Soil Science, specializing in Soil Fertility with a minor in Agronomy, further deepening my expertise in the science that supports resilient and productive farming systems.
My dedication to leadership and service was recognized when I was named a Finalist for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines–Western Visayas in 2018. Beyond academia, I actively contribute to professional and civil society organizations, including the UP Soil Science Society, the Philippine Association for Agriculturists, Inc., and the Academy for Women Entrepreneurs, where I collaborate with peers and institutions to strengthen agricultural innovation and community empowerment.
Through this blend of professional practice, academic pursuit, and civic involvement, I continue to champion sustainable agriculture and the conservation of plant genetic resources, ensuring that science and service work hand in hand to support farmers, communities, and ecosystems.
