Mr. Jaykumar Rawal currently serves as the Minister for Marketing and Protocol, Government of Maharashtra, and is also the Chairman of the Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board (MSAMB) and the MAGNET Society. He previously held ministerial responsibilities across multiple departments in the Government of Maharashtra.
Over the years, he has contributed to strengthening agricultural marketing systems, institutional development, and governance frameworks aimed at enhancing farmer welfare while supporting broader socio-economic development and public service delivery. He has extensive experience in public leadership, institutional coordination, and implementation oversight, with a focus on enabling effective collaboration between government institutions and stakeholders. He has been associated with several developmental initiatives aimed at improving local infrastructure, strengthening cooperative institutions, and promoting effective implementation frameworks. His leadership roles have emphasized institutional coordination, policy execution, and creating platforms that support sustainable growth in the agriculture and allied sectors.
Mr. Rawal holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Symbiosis College, Pune, and has pursued studies in Business Management (International Business) in Cardiff, United Kingdom.
