Jaume Mas Vilella is an Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineer with a Master’s Degree in Operations and Logistics Management, trained at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and LuleåUniversity in Sweden.
With over 25 years of international experience, he has led projects across Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, specializing in agribusiness value chains, food logistics, and national‑scale supply system transformation. At IDOM, he works with governments, public agencies, multilaterals and private companies to strengthen food competitiveness and modernize primary production systems.
He has contributed to key value chain programs such as tropical fruits in Brazil (mango, papaya, pineapple), avocado in Colombia, and coffee chains in Brazil and Colombia, as well as modernization of agribusiness distribution networks in Mexico and agro‑logistics hubs in Colombia.
He also played a central role in the Philippines National Food Chain Logistics Master Plan and previously collaborated on the concept of the Dubai Food Park.
Jaume has worked closely with leading global experts from institutions like Mercasa, Mercabarna and experts from the World Union of Wholesale Markets (WUWM), helping transfer global best practices in wholesale markets, cold chain development and food system modernization.
