Boubaker Ben-Belhassen is Director of the FAO Markets and Trade Division (EST). His areas of specialization include commodity markets, agricultural trade, price and policy analysis, projections, and food security issues. Mr. Ben-Belhassen also serves as Secretary of the FAO Committee on Commodity Problems (CCP). He holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in agricultural economics and an M.A. in economics, all from the University of Missouri, Columbia, USA.
