Minister Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon is the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. He began his professional career as a Translator/Interpreter and later served as an Administrative Assistant at CARE International in Tajikistan. Meder also worked on climate initiatives, including as a Specialist at the Climate Change and Ozone Center and later as an Advisor on Climate Finance Readiness for the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). From 2017 to 2020, he further expanded his expertise by consulting various organizations, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the UK Department for International Development. His consultancy work focused on enhancing climate resilience, effective cooperation with the Green Climate Fund, and evaluating projects in Central Asia. He graduated from the Tajik Technical University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and has a MSc in International Political Economics from the University of Kassel, Germany.
