Mr. Aslam Javaid currently serving as Member Agriculture Planning & Development Board, Punjab is a development economist. He has vast experience in conceiving development projects and monitoring their implementation. He has expertise in monitoring and evaluation of Development projects. He has extensively engaged with international Development partners like Asian Development Bank, World Bank, JICA and FAO. He is currently assigned the task of transformation of Agriculture sector in the Punjab in the Capacity of Member Agriculture Planning & Development Board Government of the Punjab, Pakistan. He is dealing with Agriculture, Livestock, Food Security and Consumer Protection Dept. of Govt. of the Punjab having aggregate portfolio of USD $350 million. His special focus is to promote climate smart Agriculture and Value Addition. He is also serving to introduce best practices in the agriculture sector which include the introduction of Hi-tech machinery. He is also engaged in breaking barriers related to Agriculture credit. He has been making concerted efforts to encourage the Banking Sector to increase investment in the Agriculture Sector.
