Alexia Sotiriadou is a Water Resources Specialist at the Asian Development Bank, working at the climate–food–nature nexus with a focus on coastal adaptation, climate-resilient infrastructure, flood risk management, and nature-based solutions across Southeast Asia and the Pacific. She contributes to the development of regional strategies and supports the design of resilient investments on integrated water management. Alexia holds an MSc in Water Resources from the National Technical University of Athens and an MSc in Hydraulic Engineering from Delft University of Technology, with a specialization in coastal and river systems. Before joining ADB, she worked with Dutch engineering consultancies Deltares, CDR International, and Delta Context, where she served as Associate Director and worked with multidisciplinary teams across policy, planning, design, and implementation in Bangladesh, India, Thailand, and Vietnam.
