Alex is the Founder and CEO of Watermarq, an early-stage company with a mission to break the status quo on how water is valued. Concurrently, he is a Principal Investigator and the Founder-in-Residence at the University of Oxford's Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment. His part-time external appointments include Chief Investment Advisor to the Africa Water Investment Programme, Member of the Global Water Partnership's Technical Committee, and Court member of the Worshipful Company of Water Conservators. He is also an academic advisor the Commonwealth Scholarship Commission.
