(Track 7: Adaptive Water Resources Infrastructure, Coastal Resilience and Blue Food/Carbon)
The session is designed to present the strategic direction and programming approach of ADB’s Agriculture, Food, Nature, and Rural Development (AFNR) for the Pacific, and its alignment with ongoing regional initiatives, such as the Pacific SIDS Investment Programme - which serves as a policy and investment framework for scaling up transformative food systems investments across Pacific SIDS – and the Regional Programmatic Approach on Climate Action (RPACA). The session will provide an overview potential integrated solutions and priorities in coastal and flood resilience as well as food and nutrition security, highlight emerging investment pipelines in the region, and showcase the core priorities and implementation pathways.
