Technology/ Innovation: Scalable Solutions for Sustainable Food, Land, and Water Systems in Asia and the Pacific
CGIAR is the world’s largest global agricultural innovation network. We provide evidence to policy makers, innovations to partners, and new tools to harness the economic, environmental and nutritional power of food systems. For this event, we will highlight CGIAR’s ready-to-scale solutions for food, land, and water systems that can be embedded into development pipelines, investment frameworks, and country strategies, demonstrating how CGIAR research and innovations can translate into bankable, system-wide impact at scale for Asia and the Pacific.
Overview of Technology/ Innovation:
Drawing on the collective strengths of CGIAR centers, the booth will showcase a select and relevant selection of CGIAR progr.ams and innovations that can be deployed and scaled to meet the needs and requirements of partners across Asia and the Pacific. CGIAR Scaling for Impact – system-wide scaling initiative focused on embedding validated innovations into national systems, public finance mechanisms, markets, and institutional frameworks for scaled adoption. CGIAR Asia Digital Hub - regional platform to test, incubate, and scale digital systems and AI-enabled tools for sustainable food systems. Adapts and expands digital innovations across Asian contexts, linking CGIAR tools with national delivery systems and partners. Climate-Smart Water Solutions Innovation Bundles - national water security strategies co-developed with national partners that integrate technology, governance reform, finance, and capacity building; designed explicitly for scaling and for embedding in investment programs. CGIAR Livestock and Climate Solutions Hub - regional coordination and scaling platform to accelerate climate-resilient, low-emission livestock innovations; connects innovation, policy, and investment to develop and scale diverse livestock systems. CGIAR Scaling Hub South Asia - brings together South Asia stakeholders to close the gap between innovation and impact at scale; embed proven research solutions into national systems, markets, and public and private investment.
