Lan Le is an environmental economist at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in the Agriculture, Food, Nature, and Rural Development (AFNR) Sector. Her work at ADB focuses on designing and developing investment projects and technical assistance on agriculture, forestry, coastal and marine ecosystems, and ocean plastic waste management. Before working with ADB, she was a Climate Change Economist with the Alliance Bioversity International – CIAT, one of CGIAR centers where she led the development of an online cost benefit tool for climate smart agricultural practices and technologies, which was applied to numerous countries in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
Lan Le holds a Doctorate Degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Economic at the School of Agriculture and Environment, University of Western Australia.
