Mr. Lance Gore is the OIC-Director of the Agriculture, Food, Nature, and Rural Development Sector Office, Southeast Asia and the Pacific Team of the Asian Development Bank. He helps lead the bank’s operational programs for river basin management and governance, IWRM, and irrigation modernization.
Concurrently, he serves as the Principal Portfolio Management Specialist and Principal Water Resources Specialist for the agriculture and natural resources division of the ADB's South Asia Regional Department. He is a chartered engineer and has been working with ADB since 2003 and has been a staff member since 2012. His work focuses primarily on water resources management, water governance, irrigation modernization, flood risk management, and bulk water storage and conveyance.
He has 30 years of experience in New Zealand, United Kingdom, North Africa, and Asia. He holds has a Master of Engineering degree from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
