As Director of Regenerative Agriculture at The Rockefeller Foundation, Ms. Floor Overbeeke leads programs that connect smallholder farmers to school meal markets—creating systems where children thrive and farmers prosper. She leads the regenerative agriculture component of The Rockefeller Foundation’s $100 million school meals initiative, reaching 100 million children across more than 12 countries. The initiative sources school meals from local farmers using regenerative practices, delivering improved nutrition for children while strengthening farmer livelihoods, climate resilience, and rural employment.
She was born in Benin, raised in Burundi, and educated in the Netherlands. She has worked in the development sector, including with Oxfam and TechnoServe, and in the private sector as Senior Sustainability Director for Africa at The Coca-Cola Company. Her work has spanned more than 60 countries across four continents and seven languages.
She continues to advocate for scaling impactful programs and advancing food systems transformation.
